Rachel LEUNG Wing Sze

Counsellor, Registered Play Therapist, Clinical Advisor (Hong Kong)

Rachel is a registered and certified play therapist in both the United States and Hong Kong, with a background in providing psychological counselling to children, families, and individuals in Australia and Hong Kong. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Melbourne, a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Queensland in Australia, and a Master's degree in Social Work from Hong Kong, where she became a registered social worker. Since 2013, Rachel has been dedicated to training and supervising local therapists and social workers in Hong Kong.


Rachel specializes in Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT) and continually advances her expertise through professional development courses related to play therapy. She focuses on helping children with special needs or those struggling with emotional, social, and behavioral challenges regulate their emotions, enhance self-esteem and self-confidence, and achieve healthy emotional and psychological development.


Through teaching parents to engage in "Special Playtime" at home and providing services such as "Parent-Child Relationship Therapy" and parenting workshops at different centers and kindergartens, Rachel assists parents in acquiring play therapy skills, understanding their children's needs and potential, and fostering their children's healthy growth.


Additionally, Rachel serves as a clinical supervisor, dedicated to providing direct therapy to children and actively guiding and training the next generation of play therapists. She imparts her knowledge and experience to other professionals, facilitating their growth and development.

Rachel is known for her gentle and helpful nature. She has a passion for music and singing and is the proud parent of two lovely children. Her family life provides her with a source of relaxation and balance amidst the pressures of her work and daily life.
