Dr. Tom YUEN

Founder

Dr. Tom Yuen is a scholar in counselling education. He possesses a wealth of expertise and is proficient in Chinese and English. He has taught psychotherapy and play therapy in countries like the United States, Canada, and Hong Kong. In recent years, he has dedicated himself to passing down the principles of play therapy to the next generation, presenting it in its true essence through Cantonese.

Lisa CHAN

Registered Counsellor, Play Therapist

Lisa Chan is a Registered Clinical Counsellor of British Columbia. She has been a compassionate social worker for over 25 years. Her professional journey commenced in Hong Kong, where she provided vital drug rehabilitation counselling services to individuals and families. Her profound mission is to empower families and children to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and positivity with her commitment to fostering emotional well-being and growth. As a professional play therapist, her treatment approach aims to create a safe space where children can explore their thoughts and emotions and where parents can find guidance to support their children’s healthy character development.

Rachel LEUNG Wing Sze

Counsellor, Registered Play Therapist, Clinical Advisor (Hong Kong)

Rachel is a registered play therapist with years of professional experience. She is dedicated to providing play therapy support for children helping them address emotional, behavioral, and developmental issues. Rachel has extensive knowledge and skills, focusing on creating a safe and supportive environment for children to express themselves through play, problem-solve, and develop healthy coping strategies. She specializes in trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, autism spectrum disorder, grief, and family problems. Rachel is also a clinical mentor, mentoring and training a new generation of play therapists. With an individualized approach and professional techniques, Rachel offers tailored therapy for each child, assisting them in achieving holistic development and psychological well-being.

Lilli NGAI

Counsellor, Registered Play Therapist

Lilli Ngai is a Counselling Psychologist and Play Therapist with over eight years of counselling experience. She specializes in play therapy, Child-Parent Relationship Therapy, individual counselling, and positive parenting education. Lilli has helped students with diversified needs, including those in special education, to develop healthy self-esteem, manage emotions, and develop effective coping skills. She advocates healthy reciprocal relationships and mentors play therapists, driven by her belief in the transformative potential of therapy and education, which help individuals thrive.

LAU Ping Hei

Registered Play Therapist Supervisor

Mr. Lau Ping Hei is an experienced registered social worker and play therapist supervisor. He has been a supervisor of a school-based social worker team for a number of years. His training and expertise make him a very unique professional in the social service sector. Mr. Lau is also a part-time lecturer at the university, imparting his professional insights to aspiring learners. Mr. Lau has two beautiful daughters. His fatherhood has enriched his experience in parent education class. Mr. Lau’s interest lies in brewing coffee, a delightful hobby that contributes to maintaining a balanced work-life style.

Wing LEUNG

Registered Counsellor, Play Therapist Supervisor

Wing Leung is a registered clinical counsellor and play therapy supervisor with over five years of counselling experience and a decade of teaching. She was a lecturer in colleges and has taught at various levels, including secondary and primary schools, kindergartens, and special childcare centers. With a strong background in early childhood education, she deeply understands the diverse needs of child development, including those of children with special needs and gifted children. Wing is dedicated to offering comprehensive professional guidance to parents, believing in the unique potential of each individual. Her sincere commitment aims to bring hope and support to people in need.

Katherine Yeung is a two-son-mother who has acquired rich experience managing and coaching hundreds of staff in a big company. She is good at promoting positive psychology and a growth mindset in empowering employees' capacities to cope with stress from home or the workplace. She also helps parents address their issues to enhance parent-child relationships and restore family harmony. She believes that everyone deserves to have a happy and fulfilling life. With this belief, she is dedicated to working with clients to achieve their goals.

Registered Play Therapist

Ms Ingrid Leung is a registered social worker and play therapist. With over two decades of dedicated experience as a social worker in the field of drug misusers and five years specializing in play therapy for children aged 3-11, she was committed to facilitating positive change and emotional growth in individuals. As a part-time lecturer in a university for over ten years, she deeply committed to shaping the next generation of social work professionals. She brought a wealth of real-world experience and a passion for equipping students with the knowledge and skills they need to make a meaningful impact in the field of social work.

Viren LI

Counsellor, Registered Play Therapist

Viren is undoubtedly a highly qualified professional with a remarkable background in education and play therapy. Her dual certifications as a Registered Play Therapist (RPT-US) and a Registered Social Worker (RSW) reflect her unwavering commitment to providing specialized support to children and their families. With an impressive career spanning over two decades in kindergarten and primary school settings, Ms. Li has wholeheartedly dedicated herself to delivering responsive services that cater to the needs of both students and parents.
Furthermore, it is heartening to note that Viren enjoys a beautiful family life, being married and raising a daughter.
